May Newsletter 2023

The whole of Twinkle have been making the most of the beautiful weather, spending as much time outdoors as possible. Each room have been setting up some lovely activities in the garden that the children have been thoroughly enjoying, particularly water play.

Back at the beginning of the month saw the Kings Coronation, we celebrated this in lots of different ways. The children enjoyed baking for their very royal afternoon tea party, dressing up in red white and blue, we had lots of coronation story books, role play teas and colourful decorations through out the whole of Twinkle. We do hope this was a celebration that the children will remember.

All rooms will be looking at holidays so please send in any pictures to add to their display boards.

REMINDER’S

Please ensure you have provided your child with suncream and sun hat labelled to be left at Twinkle.

Don’t forget to submit any holiday dates you may have.

Baby Room

The Babies have been very busy exploring the outdoors getting very messy and wet from lots of water play in the garden. They have been busy indoors too investigating the new treasure baskets.

Toddler Room

The Toddlers have been enjoying their new cosy corner, they are loving relaxing and reading stories together in this calm and tranquil environment.

As you have probably seen they have created a new window display where the children’s art work can be seen by everyone, if you have any ideas for their next theme then please share these with the toddler room team.

Pre-School Room

This month pre-school have been looking at mini beasts and weather, they particularly enjoyed learning about Bees and how they produce the yummy honey that they enjoyed eating.

Last week the children instigated a room move around, we often look at the room from the children’s point of view to see what they are liking or getting bored of, this ensures their curiosity for learning.

We have been able to have our door to the garden open all day over the last couple of weeks, having the free flow between indoors and out has been amazing as we can make the most of the lovely spaces available.
